Cross Party Group on Credit Unions

The Scottish Parliament’s Cross-Party Group (CPG) on Credit Unions gives Scotland’s thriving credit union sector a regular foholyroodrum at Holyrood.

The Group meets every few months, bringing together MSPs from across the parties to discuss the impact of devolved policy decisions on credit unions in Scotland. Recent meetings of the CPG have discussed helping Scots through the recession, fair and appropriate debt solutions, publicising credit unions and promoting financial capability.

Like all Cross-Party Groups, the CPG on Credit Unions was officially dissolved with the Dissolution of Parliament, but we will be working to re-register the CPG in the new Parliament. For information about the CPG or to receive updates about meetings, please email
